The Friends are a group of active advocates of the Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Public Library, Inc. in historic Newtown, a part of Sarasota Florida. The Friends help raise community awareness and appreciation of services and resources for the library.

The Friends also manage the library’s bookstore. Its sales support a wide variety of the library’s activities. Please visit our website often to learn more about the upcoming events of the Friends.
